Aether Realm announce new album ‘Season of Bloodshed’

AETHER REALM have announced a brand new album!

The North Carolina melodic death metal outfit have revealed their new album, Season of Bloodshed, which is scheduled for release on December 11th via Napalm Records. The upcoming record follows 2020’s Redneck Vikings From Hell and arrives after a turbulent period for the band, which saw them navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, Hurricane Helene and a line-up change that welcomed guitarist Chris Jones following the departure of Donny Burbage.

Speaking about the album, the band shares, “this is an album born from an anger that was allowed to fester for too long. At the confluence of the great injustices of our time and the insignificant wrongs that get under our skin every day, we can find ourselves transformed into our worst selves. It is in the expression of this feeling, through these cruel riffs, shredding solos, and crushing breakdowns, that we may find peace.”

The album also features a number of notable guests, including Taj Jewett on Broken Fist, Wayne Ingram (WILDERUN, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn Of Ragnarok) on The Weight, violinist Sarah Stepanik on Path Of The Wind, and the Western North Carolina Pagan Choir on the closing epic Terminus Omnium.
