Kalandra announce new album ‘The Other Side’
KALANDRA have announced a brand new album!
The Norwegian pop/folk outfit have revealed their third studio album, The Other Side, which is scheduled for release on November 13th via By Norse Music. The upcoming record follows 2024’s A Frame Of Mind and was inspired by years of dream journalling, the new album explores the mysterious terrain where memories, fears and imagination collide.
To coincide with the announcement, KALANDRA have also unveiled Let Me Be Open, the first single to be taken from the forthcoming album.
Speaking about the new single, vocalist Katrine Ødegård Stenbekk shares, “there’s a moment when you realise how much of yourself you’ve learned to hold back. Let Me Be Open grew out of that feeling, the longing to loosen your grip, let go of some of the fear, and rediscover the sense of wonder you had as a child. It’s a song about making space for something softer to emerge, and trusting that not every shadow needs to be fought.”
