Eivør releases new music video for ‘Verjugarðar / Walls’

EIVØR has released a new single!

The Faroese singer-songwriter has unveiled Verjugarðar / Walls, the latest single to be taken from her upcoming new album, Tungl, which is scheduled for release on October 16th, via Nuclear Blast Records.

The new track is an atmospheric and emotionally charged composition, blending dark electronic textures with EIVØR‘s distinctive songwriting style. Exploring themes of distance, silence and human connection, Verjugarðar / Walls reflects on the barriers people create to protect themselves and the consequences those barriers can have on relationships.

Speaking about the new single, EIVØR shares, “Verjugarðar / Walls is an epic and dark electronic rock ballad about two people who have lost what once bound them together behind walls of silence. The paradox is that the walls we build to protect ourselves can also be the very walls that keep us apart. This is one of those songs that took me a few years to write, but when it suddenly fell into place, I just couldn’t stop singing it.”
