Soul Glo announce new album ‘NA I’M GON GRAB ALLAT’
SOUL GLO have announced a brand new album!
The Philadelphia hardcore punks have revealed their new album, NA I’M GON GRAB ALLAT, which is scheduled for release on January 15th via Epitaph Records. The upcoming record marks the band’s first new music in three years and serves as the long-awaited follow-up to 2022’s Diaspora Problems.
According to the band, the new album focuses heavily on community, masculinity, relationships and self-discovery, with vocalist Pierce Jordan describing the record as being “largely about failures, mine and others, in my relationships with different men in my life”. The vocalist also dedicates the album to “everyone who has known the joy and pain of loving a man. All different types of love: platonic, romantic, familial, self.”
To coincide with the announcement, SOUL GLO have also unveiled February Theory, a new single featuring MANNEQUIN PUSSY, alongside an accompanying music video. February Theory sees Jordan exploring the recurring experience of relationships ending in February, whilst seeking clarity and renewal through what he describes as becoming “the scorpion, the eagle, and finally the phoenix.”
