Pantera announce The Great Nola Trendkill festival
The Great Nola Trendkill festival has been announced!
Presented by Housecore Horror, Housecore Records and Live Nation, the festival will take place across November 20th and 21st at the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The two-day event will be headlined by PANTERA performing their first show in New Orleans in 30 years, whilst also celebrating the 30th anniversary of the band’s landmark album, The Great Southern Trendkill. The festival will additionally host DOWN‘s official Volume V record release show ahead of the album’s release via Nuclear Blast Records on November 20th.
Joining PANTERA and DOWN on the bill will be BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY, POWER TRIP, CROWBAR, EYEHATEGOD, PIG DESTROYER, RĀDE and HERAKLEION. The event will also mark the return of Housecore Horror, featuring horror screenings, special guests, vendors and additional events taking place throughout New Orleans across the festival weekend.
Speaking about the festival, Philip H. Anselmo shares, “to be back in New Orleans with such a package of bands and events is a dream come true. Besides PANTERA and DOWN, we have great NOLA and national bands playing, Housecore Records and Housecore Horror specialties, horror industry personalities, talented artists, and so much more. Please come down to my hometown and have a blast the entire weekend!”
