Slam Dunk Festival announce second wave of bands for 2027
Slam Dunk Festival has announced a second wave of bands for its 2027 edition!
The UK’s biggest independent rock festival will return to Leeds Temple Newsam on May 29th and Hatfield Park on May 30th, 2027, with 18 new acts joining an already stacked bill.
Newly announced for the festival are BILLY TALENT, COBRA STARSHIP, SUPERHEAVEN, JOYCE MANOR, THE PARADOX, AMIRA ELFEKY, FOREVER THE SICKEST KIDS, THE FAMILY BUSINESS LTD, BEN QUAD, GAMES WE PLAY, SUPER SOMETIMES, SHORELINE, CAR UNDERWATER, THE PRETTY WILD, NOVELISTS, BLACKGOLD, FUTURE PALACE and THE HAUNT.
Among the highlights of the second announcement are the return of Canadian punk-rock veterans BILLY TALENT, a UK-exclusive appearance from COBRA STARSHIP marking the band’s first UK show in 17 years, the Slam Dunk debut of grunge-inspired outfit SUPERHEAVEN, and appearances from emo favourites JOYCE MANOR and reunited pop-punk act FOREVER THE SICKEST KIDS.
The festival has also announced the introduction of camping for the first time in its history. Limited camping, campervan and pre-pitched tent options will be available at both Leeds Temple Newsam and Hatfield Park, with tickets going on sale this Friday.
SDF North will take place on Saturday, May 29th at Temple Newsam, Leeds and SDF South will take place on Sunday, May 30th at Hatfield Park, Hatfield. Tickets are are available now and can be purchased here.
