Burning Witches release new song ‘Executed’

BURNING WITCHES have released a new song!

The new song, titled Executed, is taken from the Swiss metallers’ upcoming new album Hexenhammer which is scheduled to be released in November this year.

The upcoming album was produced in the Little Creek Studio by the same team as its predecessor, 2017’s self-titled effort: V.O. Pulver (PRO-PAIN, DESTRUCTION, NERVOSA, PANZER) and DESTRUCTION legend Schmier.

Speaking about the track, the band says, “we are very proud to show you our first lyric & performance video for the song Executed. It is a very powerful & speedy track that tells the story of the ‘last Witch’ Anna Göldi from Switzerland and her harrowing life. A tragic and true story that fits into our Hexenhammer album theme!”

Alongside the release of the new song, you can view both the track list and artwork for the upcoming record. The album’s artwork was created by acclaimed artist Gyula from Hungary, who has also created artwork for DESTRUCTION, ANNIHILATOR, GRAVE DIGGER, STRATOVARIUS, TANKARD and more.
