PREMIERE: Agronomicon – Beaten To Death

Distorted Sound is pleased to premiere the brand new song from BEATEN TO DEATH!

The track, titled Agronomicon, is the title track from the Oslo-based band’s upcoming new album which is scheduled to be released on Christmas Eve. So, just in time for the holidays, we have the delight in premiering this vicious slab of grindcore goodness!

Speaking about the track, vocalist Anders tells us, “this is the title track of our fourth album, and this is one of the few songs that actually takes a political stance albeit a rather simplified and humoristic one. The idea behind Agronomicon was to create this scenario where western leaders suggest that the food shortages of the African continent might be possible to solve with some good old black magic. Which is just as ridiculous an idea as what seems to be the general response to climate change internationally these days. “Let’s just sit around and wait for a solution to magically appear and take the problems away. New technology will come along! We will be fine! Let’s get back to making money!”
