Fractions release new track ‘Soundness Of Mind’

Progressive metal outfit FRACTIONS have released a new track!

The quintet have been racking up some impressive accolades over the last couple of years, reaching the final of Leicester’s Metal 2 The Masses, sealing a slot at UK Tech-Metal Fest 2018 as well as supporting UK metal titans TESSERACT. The quintet are hoping to build on this with the follow up to their previously released EP Forces in the form of new single Soundness Of Mind.

When asked about the concept for the track frontman Chris Hare says, “Soundness Of Mind delves into paranoia, that ever present nagging feeling that everyone is scheming behind your back. The feeling that your life is almost like a play, nothing is real and everyone is fake. The feeling that even those you hold close are secretly laughing at you. But it’s all in your head, and you need to realise this in order to change.”

The track was recorded, produced, mixed and mastered by the band which shows they’re not short of talent!
