10 more bands announced for Slam Dunk Festival

Slam Dunk Festival have announced another 10 bands for this year’s festival!

Following hot on the heels of the last announcement, that saw the likes of CANCER BATS, THE BRONX, MILK TEETH, ATREYU and more added to the bill, now, another ten bands have been announced for this year’s festival!

Leading the charge in the latest announcement, PLAIN WHITE T’S, HELLOGOODBYE, TOUCHE AMORE, LIGHTS and TIGERS JAW will all perform sets across the festival weekend. MICROWAVE, WALLFLOWER, WAGE WAR, EMPLOYED TO SERVE and OUR HOLLOW, OUR HOME have also been announced.

Speaking about performing at this year’s festival, Forrest Klein of HELLOGOODBYE says, “we’re totally giddy to be invited over to Slam Dunk this year! The line up is insane, so many friends and lovers in one spot, it’ll be a completely gratuitous smile fest. HELLOGOODBYE has seen (and self-inflicted) countless changes between Slam Dunk visits in 2006, 2011, and now 2019; but I’ve got no doubt SDF will remain comfortingly the same: AN ABSOLUTE FUCKING TREAT.” LIGHTS adds, “I’m so pumped to be on the Slam Dunk bill for the first time. Not only am I excited to play with a bunch of great bands, but it’s been over two years since I’ve been back in the UK so needless to say Slam Dunk can’t come soon enough.”

Slam Dunk Festival 2019 takes place on Saturday May 25th in Leeds and Sunday May 26th in Hatfield. Tickets priced at £59 are on sale now and can be purchased here.
