Sunsleeper release music video for new track ‘Soften Up’

SUNSLEEPER have released a brand new music video!

The video for the new single Soften Up, is the first release since the band’s well-received debut EP, Stay the Same. On top of the new single, the band also have signed up with Rude Records.

Speaking about the track, SUNSLEEPER‘s vocalist, Jeffery Mudgett says, “The video and song parallel each other. It describes how on the inside that is typically where the discomfort and anxiety lives, and while on the outside this is where we put up a front or a smile, like nothing is wrong.”

The single was produced by Nathan Hussey (All Get Out) at VuDu Studios in Port Jefferson, NY, the track is about internalising feelings of disdain while presenting oneself as put together on the outside. This theme came at a time when change was evident in the lives of each member of the band. Soften Up is the perfect depiction of what they were going through.
