Cherubs announce new album ‘Immaculada High’
CHERUBS have announced a new album!
Titled Immaculada High, the upcoming album from the Texan noise rockers will be released in in July and will mark their label debut at Relapse Records.
Recorded and engineered by Erik Wofford (EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY, THE BLACK ANGELS, MY MORNING JACKET) at Cacophony Studio in Austin, Immaculada High is 11 songs of signature CHERUBS clamor with an added twist of Texas-sized, psychedelic racket. Speaking about the upcoming album, the band says, “this recording feels like the soundtrack to a movie about Mother Nature exacting dark revenge on the nasty homo sapiens. There’s tigers and pigs and wolves crying out of eyes – oh my.”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released the first song from the upcoming album; titled Sooey Pig.
