PREMIERE: War – Jet Fuel Chemistry

We here at Distorted Sound are delighted to premiere a new music video from JET FUEL CHEMISTRY!

The new music video, for the track War, is taken from the Irish rock band’s upcoming new EP, Sign of the Times, which is scheduled to be released in August. We are delighted to give the new music video its official premiere.

Speaking about the new song, bassist Lorcan Macken tells us, “we wrote this song a year ago as we watched news and entertainment media churn out a new social issue for everyone to despise each other over… well, seemingly every day. The thought was that people would eventually start to see through the conflict being imposed upon them, and rather than keep fighting over the grey areas of hot-button issues, they’d kind of come together in some grand act of defiance… so the song is about a guy realising the War he’s engaged in is really part of some grand deception. A year later, the song felt really right for this moment in history. We’re witnessing how when you constantly lie to people you exhaust them, and they aren’t always willing to stand up for what’s good and true, even though they might be good people.”
