Corey Taylor announces debut solo album ‘CMFT’
COREY TAYLOR has announced his debut solo album!
Titled CMFT, the upcoming solo album from the SLIPKNOT/STONE SOUR frontman is his debut solo effort and is scheduled to be released in October, via Roadrunner Records.
The upcoming solo album has been along time coming for TAYLOR, with newly written tracks alongside some dating back to his teens. Recorded at Hideout Studio in Las Vegas, with producer Jay Ruston and his band – Christian Martucci [guitar], Zach Throne [guitar], Jason Christopher [bass], and Dustin Robert [drums] – the album traces a wild and exhilarating roadmap through TAYLOR’s musical psyche.
Alongside the announcement of the solo album, COREY TAYLOR has released two new songs from the upcoming album; Black Eyes Blue and CMFT Must Be Stopped. CMFT Must Be Stopped comes with an accompanying music video, directed by DJay Brawner, sees sees TAYLOR taking the CMFT championship belt, while friends such as Marilyn Manson, Lars Ulrich, Rob Halford, Chris Jericho, ZillaKami and more make cameo appearances
