Bloodstock Festival announce another seven bands

Seven more bands have been announced for Bloodstock Festival!

As the UK continues its path out of the current lockdown to fight COVID-19, it’s only sixteen weeks until the UK’s biggest metal festival comes back with a thunderous bang!

After the likes of BLEED FROM WITHINTHERAPY?PARTY CANNON and more were confirmed for 2021’s festival last month, now, seven more bands have joined this year’s festival!

Landing a slot on the Friday’s Ronnie James Dio main stage is UK death metallers VENOM PRISON, whilst new UK hardcore band BORSTAL are set to open the day’s action on the Ronnie James Dio Stage on Saturday.

Speaking about performing at this year’s festival, VENOM PRISON says, VENOM PRISON are honoured to be invited to play at the legendary Bloodstock Festival again, having first appeared at the 2017 edition. This will be our first show in nearly two years since the world was shut down by the pandemic. We can’t wait to step out on stage again and cause utter destruction. See you in the pit.”

Over on the Sophie Lancaster Stage, BLOODYWOOD have unfortunately had to postpone their appearance at this year’s festival, but we make their return at 2022’s festival. As such, their Friday night headline slot will be filled by the mighty NAPALM DEATH. Snagging Friday spots on the Sophie Lancaster Stage are Cornish rockers KING CREATURE and melodic/power metal beasts, PRIMITAI. Adding to the Saturday Sophie affray are Southampton crew TERRA IV and joining Sunday’s lineup are Leicester metal five piece, INTERNAL CONFLICT.

Bloodstock Festival will take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from 11th-15th August 2021. Tickets are available now and can be purchased here.
