Alcest release new music video for ‘Flamme Jumelle’

ALCEST have released a brand new music video!

The new music video, for the track Flamme Jumelle, is taken from the French post-black metal band’s upcoming new album, Les Chants De L’Aurore, which is scheduled to be released in June this year.

Speaking about the new song, band mastermind Neige says, “despite its more accessible vibe, this song is actually the most personal song of the album for me. Flamme Jumelle, which means ‘Twin Flame’, is about the idea of loss in general and the difficulty of coping with the absence of someone you deeply loved. It could be a family member, a friend, or a partner. On a more spiritual level, the title refers to the possibility that certain souls are connected in this life and beyond, and that separation is temporary and just a mortal concept.”

Les Chants De L’Aurore is set for release on June 21st via Nuclear Blast Records. Pre-orders are available now and can be purchased here.
