All Ears Avow release new music video for ‘A Night Like This’

ALL EARS AVOW have released a brand new single!

The new single, titled A Night Like This, is the latest track to be lifted from the Swindon-based alternative rock band’s upcoming debut album, Horrors, which is scheduled to be released in October this year via Western Audio Records. The song arrives alongside an official music video.

Speaking about the new single, vocalist/guitarist Claire Sutton shares, “ultimately this song is about peer pressure and being led astray on a wild night out. It’s about struggling not to give into temptation and resisting letting go but gradually being swayed into it and realising you can let go of responsibility and accountability – at least for one night.”

She continues, “it was written while watching a TV series called Sweet Pea, where the main character was swept up into psychopathy and murdering people that inconvenienced her and it was incredibly (and disturbingly) empowering to her. As I was writing it, I realised the song was this giant analogy for vampires and other creatures of the night who thrive when the sun goes down.”

The accompanying music video leans into the song’s vampiric theme, blending Buffy the Vampire Slayer spoof elements with LADY GAGA-inspired choreography. Sutton adds, “it was really hard work, lots of fun and totally worth it – but I won’t be reaching for the headset mic any time soon. I shall stick to playing my guitar!”
