Alter Bridge announce new album and UK tour

ALTER BRIDGE have announced a new album and tour!

The album, titled Walk The Sky, is the band’s sixth record and is scheduled for release in October.

The album was born from complete song ideas created by vocalist Miles Kennedy and guitarist and vocalist Mark Tremonti, with the songs then worked on by the entire band to make the album. This varies from the band’s previous method (going back to their second release Blackbird) where Kennedy and Tremonti would combine individual ideas and riffs alongside producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette to form some of the band’s most revered songs.

The band will release the first single from the album, Wouldn’t You Rather, on Friday 28th June.

The band have also announced a UK arena tour this December, with special guests SHINEDOWN and SEVENDUST.

Speaking about the tour, Mark Tremonti says, “we are honoured to be returning to the UK with our friends in SHINEDOWN and SEVENDUST this winter. See you all very soon, we couldn’t be happier with the lineup and can’t wait to share our new tunes with you!”

Pre-sale tickets go on sale Wednesday 19th June, with general sale tickets available on Friday 21st June. 

Walk The Sky is set for release 18th October via Napalm Records.
