Altostratus announce debut album ‘Complete The Connection’

ALTOSTRATUS have announced their debut album!

Titled Complete The Connection, the upcoming album from the Northern English instrumental progressive metallers is their debut full-length effort and is scheduled to be released in February next year.

Born in 2015, the band was influenced by each members’ love for widdly guitar music. Since their inception, the band have shared stages with the likes of SKYHARBOR, Sarah Longfield, SITHU AYE, and MODERN DAY BABYLON, and their debut LP, Complete The Connection, is their most beautiful yet ferocious material yet.

Speaking about the upcoming debut, guitarist Alex Hek says, “we’re very excited to show-off our new album Complete The Connection. This record is the result of several years of work and effort; our creation has undergone much self scrutiny and is our most interesting piece of music to date. The album is a journey through exciting and unique sound worlds that take place in a deeply connected universe. It’s not a concept album as such, but if the listener pays close attention they will hear the motifs, relationships, overarching themes throughout the album, and – get it? – Complete The Connection. There are plenty of widdly riffs and djenty breakdowns throughout the journey, these are accompanied by melodic post-rock sections and electronic/jazz palette cleansers, all before reaching an epic finale in the final track Starlight.”

Alongside the announcement of the debut album, the band have shared a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; titled Hosnian Prime.
