An Autumn For Crippled Children announce new album ‘As The Morning Dawns We Close Our Eyes’
AN AUTUMN FOR CRIPPLED CHILDREN have announced a new album!
Titled As The Morning Dawns We Close Our Eyes, the upcoming album from the Dutch black-meets-post-metal band is the follow-up to 2020’s All Fell Silent, Everything Went Quiet and is scheduled to be released in May this year, via Prosthetic Records.
The upcoming album was recorded, mixed and mastered within the confines of the band, and the band remains a project shrouded in mystery, they are yet to perform live. Their reclusive nature doesn’t detract from the alluring nature of their output – if anything the anonymity adds to the mystery and intrigue.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for the first song lifted from the upcoming album; Carefully Breathing. Speaking about the new song, the band says, “the song is about a profound experience that has great emotional impact. The first thing when you try to cope with such an event is just carefully breathing. The song explores the impact of profound experience (be it good or bad) and how these experiences shape you as a human being.”
