Angel Du$t announce new album ‘Cold 2 The Touch’
Eclectic punk rockers ANGEL DU$T have announced a brand new album!
Titled Cold 2 The Touch, the upcoming album from the Baltimore-based band is the follow-up to 2023’s BRAND NEW SOUL, and is scheduled to be released in February next year, via Run For Cover Records. Clocking in at 26 minutes, the record marks a bold new chapter in the band’s evolution, blending hard riffs, big hooks, and a fearless approach to genre boundaries.
It also reunites the band with producer Brian McTernan (TURNSTILE, BALANCE & COMPOSURE, BANE, CONVERGE) and introduces new members Nick Lewis and Jim Carroll (AMERICAN NIGHTMARE, SUICIDE FILE, THE HOPE CONSPIRACY).
Speaking about the album, frontman Justice Tripp says, “this is who I am, and I speak for the band too: these are people who are always going to be playing aggressive rock & roll. It’s happening whether you like it or not. I’m me, and if you get in my way I’m gonna crush you.”
To celebrate the album announcement, ANGEL DU$T have released the title track Cold 2 The Touch. The single is a hyperactive burst of galloping drums, razor-sharp riffs, and frontman Justice Tripp’s unmistakable vocal delivery. It also features guest appearances from across the hardcore universe, including Scott Vogel (TERROR), Wes Eisold (AMERICAN NIGHTMARE, COLD CAVE), Patrick Cozens (RESTRAINING ORDER), Frank Carter, and Taylor Young (TWITCHING TONGUES, DEADBODY).
