Angels & Airwaves announce new album ‘Lifeforms’

ANGELS & AIRWAVES have announced a new album!

Titled Lifeforms, the upcoming album from the American alternative band is the long-awaited follow-up to 2014’s The Dream Walker and is scheduled to be released in September this year, via Rise Records.

The news of the upcoming album, as well as their world tour dates which you can see below, were first made from space, when the band partnered with Sent Into Space to launch a renewable hydrogen capsule which played an out of this world premiere of the entire album along with displaying the tour and album information.

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a brand new song from the upcoming release; Restless Souls. The new song is the second single to be released from the album, following on from Euphoria, which was released last month.

“Restless Souls in many ways is a honest letter from God to humanity – because life seems to always be looking for ways to inspire, clarify and teach us when things become more difficult,” says frontman Tom DeLonge. “This album for me is a journey through different relationships, different points of view, and how we each have our own life path.”

And that’s not all from ANGELS & AIRWAVES! The band have confirmed an extensive world tour that will run from the remainder of this year through to March next year. The tour will kick off in the US before the band cross the Atlantic to commence a headlining run through mainland Europe and the UK in 2022.
