Angelus Apatrida announce new album ‘Cabaret de la Guillotine’
ANGELUS APATRIDA have announced a brand new album!
The new album, titled Cabaret de la Guillotine, is the Spanish thrash metallers’ sixth album, and is set for release in May. The follow up to 2015’s Hidden Evolution, the new album was mixed and mastered by Daniel Cardoso (ANATHEMA, ANNEKE VAN GIERSBERGEN) and features artwork by Gyula Havancsák (DESTRUCTION, ANNIHILATOR). Alongside the new album announcement, the band have also released the first single from it, titled Sharpen The Guillotine. Speaking about the track, the band says, “the song resumes the actual political situation of Spain. While I am writing this, a rapper singer is going to spend 3 years and 6 months in jail because of their lyrics. Spain is a dangerous place now. Freedom of speech? Yes, but only for the rich.”
