Apart release new music video for ‘Unsaid’
APART have released a new music video!
The new music video, for the track Unsaid, offers the first glimpse of the French indie emo rock trio’s upcoming debut album Through The Cracks, which is scheduled to be released in May this year via Flake Records (Japan), Clever Eagle Records (USA), Disque Ardent and Emergence Records (France). The album was produced by Amaury Sauvé (BIRDS IN ROW, IT IT ANITA, ARHIOS) and mastered by Thibault Chaumont (CARPENTER BRUT, ULVER, HORKSH).
The music video was created by video artist Mathieu Ezan, who is known for his work with CULT OF LUNA, ARHIOS and MASS HYSTERIA.
Speaking about the video, vocalist Vianney Dupont comments, “What convinced us to work with Mathieu was his ability to convey the mood of a track, through the colors of his style, the grain and the rhythm found in his videos. Here, we tried to reproduce the melancholy that emanates from this song. There is no narrative, apart from a car journey that leads nowhere. Which is a bit of a red herring, if you think about the story of the song. The only moment with any narrative intent is the climax, the end, where the camera settles on each of us in slow motion.”
