ArcTanGent announce 19 new bands
19 new bands have been announced for this year’s ArcTanGent!
Following last month’s announcement, which saw a heap of bands including WARDRUNA, TESSERACT, KALANDRA, GREEN LUNG and more confirmed, now, 19 new bands have been announced for this year’s festival!
Leading the charge in the new announcement is Leicester-based instrumental post-rock outfit MAYBESHEWILL, whilst Scottish and American mathcore band FRONTIERER and reformed Welsh post-hardcore crew MCLUSKY will all perform across this festival weekend this August.
Also confirmed for this year’s festival is GOD IS AN ASTRONAUT and THE CALLOUS DAOBOYS – both of which will perform exclusive UK shows – SWAMP COFFIN, WALDO’S GIFT, LOST IN KIEV, POTHAMUS, WREN, VIANOVA, THE SAD SEASON, THE GREY and Lo!.
Also confirmed for the festival’s Silent Disco is live performances from NORDIC GIANTS, AK/DK, YARD and JOHN CXNNOR (performing an exclusive doom rage DJ set). A live edition of the 2 Promoters 1 Pod podcast (which features festival director James Scarlett and Damnation Festival‘s director Gavin McInally) will also take place at this year’s festival.
Speaking about the new announcement, festival director James Scarlett shares, “ArcTanGent Festival 2025 has truly become a diverse spectrum of extraordinary sounds that we’re all extremely proud of at ATG HQ. From ground-breaking live band silent disco sets to even more one-of-a-kind sets (MAYBESHEWILL with accompanying strings will be something to behold), it’s really starting to feel like this summer’s most unique music festival is right around the corner.”
MAYBESHEWILL says, “to mark our 20th year as a band we wanted to put together a special set that looked back on the whole of our career. Drawing on some rarely performed songs from our back catalogue, we’ll be joined by an ensemble of additional musicians who have played with us over the years. ArcTanGent has always felt like home to us, and it felt like the perfect setting to celebrate this milestone amongst friends.”
ArcTanGent will take place at Fernhill Farm on August 13th-16th 2025. Tickets are available now and can be purchased here.
