ArcTanGent announce 28 bands for 2025

The first batch of bands for next year’s ArcTanGent have been announced!

Following a blockbuster 2024, now, 28 new bands have been announced for next year’s beloved award-winning festival!

Leading the charge in the new announcement is Aussie progressive metallers KARNIVOOL, who will headline the Friday at next year’s festival in an exclusive appearance, whilst Washington legends MELVINS, ROLO TOMASSI and KYLESA will all perform at next year’s festival.

Also confirmed to perform at next year’s festival is BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME (who will perform two sets including 2007’s Colors in full), THE FALL OF TROY (who will perform Doppelganger in full), DVNE, WE LOST THE SEA (performing two sets including Departure Songs in full), ADEBISI SHANK, ALPHA MALE TEA PARTY, GOST, SUGAR HORSE, INTER ARMA, KAYO DOT, SLEEPYTIME GORILLA MUSEUM, HEAVE BLOOD & DIE, VESSELS, AS LIVING ARROWS, BURNER, BONEFLOWER, CHALK HANDS, DRONGO, GIANT WALKER, MAUD THE MOTH, METH, NI, PAPANGU, TAYNE.

Speaking about the first announcement, festival organiser James Scarlett says, “we go again! We’ve already got some huge reunions in the form of KYLESA, ADEBISI SHANK and VESSELS, plus some legendary albums in full from THE FALL OF TROY, WE LOST THE SEA and BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME. We’re also delighted to welcome MELVINS and our Friday headliners, KARNIVOOL, to their first ever ATG. We’re starting as we mean to go on – ArcTanGent 2025 is going to be ridiculous!”

KARNIVOOL says, “how good is music? It thrills us from our collective hearts, excited to be circling the round round globe just to play this one show with some amazing acts and friends, ArcTanGent see you there! How good is music?” ROLO TOMASSI adds, “when it came to deciding how to best celebrate our 20th anniversary there was only one thing we had in mind. We’re delighted to be returning to ArcTanGent and look forward to putting together a special show for this incredibly special festival.”

And KYLESA says, “we are thrilled to make our return to the UK under the legendary tents of ArcTanGent. Looking forward to seeing you all in Bristol!”
