ArcTanGent announce first wave of bands for 2026

ArcTanGent have announced the first wave of bands for their 2026 lineup!

The much-loved and award-winning festival will return next summer after a blockbuster 2025, running from August 19th to 22nd 2026, and promises another incredible edition packed with exclusives, reformations, and special sets.

Leading today’s announcement is the phenomenal French artist IGORRR (UK exclusive), whose genre-defying sound blends black metal, breakbeats, baroque, and trip hop. Joining them are fellow French acts ALCEST (UK exclusive) and electronic powerhouse PERTURBATOR (UK exclusive), alongside Oklahoma noise/sludge outfit CHAT PILE, Belgian post-metal favourites OATHBREAKER (UK exclusive), and Icelandic math-art rockers AGENT FRESCO, returning for their first shows in seven years (UK exclusive). British math rock heroes TTNG will also perform for the first time in seven years.

Other highlights include a special reunion show from HECK celebrating the 10th anniversary of Instructions, HUMANFLY reforming for their first show in 13 years, and a Silent Disco live set from AMPLIFIER following last year’s success. The Wednesday lineup will feature the soon-to-disband SVALBARD in their final festival appearance, French post-rockers LOST IN KIEV, and math rock favourites ALPHA MALE TEA PARTY.

Speaking about the first announcement, festival organiser James Scarlett shares, “the demand for ArcTanGent 2026 tickets has truly been unprecedented, with over half our tickets sold in the first 2 weeks of them being on sale. Fans will have to wait a little bit longer before we can announce our headliners, but we’re so excited for the exclusives, reformations and special sets we’ve already cooked up – Early Bird tickets are running low so if you want to lock in for another vintage ArcTanGent, don’t sleep!”
