ArcTanGent announces 54 new bands

ArcTanGent have announced a whopping 54 bands for next year’s festival!

Following the first announcement earlier this month, that saw Wednesday’s lineup of SCALPING, CONJURER, DVNE, HIPPOTRAKTOR, SKIN FAILURE and more revealed, now, a whopping 54 bands have been announced for 2023’s festival!

Leading the charge in the massive announcement is DEAFHEAVEN, who will perform Sunbather in full, experimental French outfit IGORRR, Norwegian experimental jazz/post-rock fusion band JAGA JAZZIST, Newcastle’s PIGS PIGS PIGS PIGS PIGS PIGS PIGS and Northern Irish instrumental juggernauts AND SO I WATCH YOU FROM AFAR. Other heavy hitters come in form of Liverpool’s LOATHE, Massachusetts legends CAVE IN, Chicago instrumentalists RUSSIAN CIRCLES, Belgium trio BRUTUS and post-hardcore outfit THE FALL OF TROY.

Also confirmed to perform at next year’s festival is ELDER, VOLA, THE OCEAN, SVALBARD, LITURGY, HOLY FAWN, WIEGEDOOD, LLNN, ATTAN, BARRENS, BEAR, BONES OF MINERVA, BRIQUEVILLE, THE CALLOUS DAOBOYS, CATBAMBOO, COBRA THE IMPALER, CURSE THESE METAL HANDS, DOMKRAFT, HELPLESS, HEROD, HIDDEN MOTHERS, THE K., LA BESTIA DE GEVAUDAN, LACK THE LOW, LAND WARS, LAWI ANYWAR, MADMESS, THE MOST, MOUNTAIN CALLER, OHHMS, PARACHTURE FOR GORDO, PLAYGROUNDED, PSYCHONAUT, QUIETLY, SATYR, SPOOK THE HORSES, SUGAR HORSE, STANDARDS, TANKENGINE, TORTUGANÓNIMA, UNPROCESSED, WESS MEETS WEST, YEAR OF NO LIGHT and YOUTHMOVIES.

Speaking about the new announcement, festival organiser James Scarlett says, “I think this is shaping up to be my favourite ever ArcTanGent line up. Obviously there are some returning heroes (hello RUSSIAN CIRCLES & THE OCEAN), but I’m most excited about the bands who will be visiting Fernhill Farm for the first time. I’ve been chasing after CAVE IN and ELDER for many years so they are getting me particularly excited. And did someone say DEAFHEAVEN playing a UK exclusive Sunbather set? Bring. It. On.”
