As It Is announce Slam Dunk Festival warm-up shows

AS IT IS have announced a string of UK shows!

Set to take place in early September, the string of shows will see the band performing in Brighton and Swansea ahead of their appearance at this year’s Slam Dunk Festival. The news of the warm-up shows comes on the back of their latest single, I Lie To Me, which was released earlier this month.

Speaking about the shows, frontman Patty Walters says, “words won’t express how I feel about shows returning. I’ll try, but they simply won’t suffice. Truthfully and transparently, I’m too emotional to let myself feel it yet. I’ll cry, and I’ll laugh, and I’ll feel like myself for the first time in far too long. The fans of our scene have lost a piece of themselves this year. Yes, artists and crew as well, but we’re all fans before we are anything else, and I think we lost sight of that before our worlds were changed. We all struggle to separate this music and these shows from who we are. This scene is who we are, and for many, mosh pits and stages are the only places we belong, or at least feel at home. I’ve missed it, and I’ve missed you all. You are our family and our home, and we look forward to seeing you at the reunion.”
