Aviana release a new music video for ‘Overcome’

AVIANA have released a new music video!

Titled Overcome, the track is the third to be released since the resurrection of the alternative metal act. Following previous singles Rage, Oblivion, and Retaliation, Overcome marks a new chapter for the band.

Despite the success of their sophomore album Epicenter via Arising Empire in 2019, almost all the members of the metalcore outfit left the band in 2020. Realising he wasn’t done with the project, vocalist Joel Holmqvist decided to take the project solo. Commenting about that time and the influence it had on his material, Holmqvist says “I was in a dark place for a long time when my former bandmates decided to leave the band. It was hard! I think these songs reflect all those feelings and thoughts that I had to fight during that difficult time.” Commenting further on the new direction of the project, the vocalist adds, “I’m building this up with the new AVIANA now. There’s a new chapter, a new story and a new era coming!”
