Awake By Design release music video for ‘Nothing Hurts’

AWAKE BY DESIGN have released a new music video!

The British heavy metal outfit are due to release their self titled full length effort in August and have given us a taster of what to expect with new track Nothing Hurts. Their utilisation of enticing symphonic elements and high energy instrumentation has helped them garner considerable attention allowing them opportunities to share the stage with the likes of MY DYING BRIDE, APOCALYPTICA, AMORPHIS and QUEENSRYCHE.

Speaking about their impending self-titled release frontman Adrian Powell says, “when I sit down to write lyrics I never have a particular plan about what I’m going to write about. I usually work the lyrics around a strong melody and the lyrics tend to flow. Listeners will be able to relate to; internal struggles, overcoming obstacles, looking at life from a different angle, war, lies, hate and love. They are all open to your own interpretation. I think lyrics should speak to you and help you get through your own personal struggles and I hope we’ve captured that with this new album.”
