BABYMETAL announce new album ‘METAL FORTH’
BABYMETAL have announced a new album!
Titled METAL FORTH, the upcoming album from the Japanese pop-meets-metal band is the follow-up to 2023’s THE OTHER ONE, and is scheduled to be released in June this year, via Capitol Records.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; from me to u. The new song features a guest appearance from POPPY, and is the second single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from RATATATA, which was released in May last year.
Speaking about the new song, the band shares, “a kawaii metal song was born from a collaboration between BABYMETAL and POPPY! Check out POPPY‘s shouts and BABYMETAL‘s dance in the Neo Tokyo setting! Kawaii is sprinkled throughout the intense sound! Kimi ni todoke!”
