Bewitcher release new song ‘Starfire Maelstrom’

BEWITCHER have released a brand new song!

The new song, titled Starfire Maelstrom, is the brand new single from the American blackened speed metal band and marks their first new music since their compilation album, Deep Cuts & Shallow Graves, which was released in November last year.

The new song gives a first glimpse into the band’s upcoming new album, Spell Shock, which is scheduled to be released in September this year, via Century Media Records. More information on the new album will be unveiled in due course.

Speaking about the new song, vocalist/guitarist Mateo Von Bewitcher says, “it’s full of apocalyptic, speed demon vibes, and imagery taken from the worst of current events that only get more apocalyptic as time goes by. It’s the feeling you get from Fight Fire With Fire on [METALLICA’s] Ride The Lightning. It’s immediate how it feeds into themes of human destruction and war, but also has cosmic elements. It’s a classic album opener.”
