Beyond The Gates announces new bands for 2026

Beyond The Gates have confirmed five new performances for the 2026 edition!

Joining the bill are American thrash veterans TESTAMENT, fresh from the release of their new album Para Bellum. Greek metal legends ROTTING CHRIST will present an exclusive old-school set focused on material from 1989-1995. French post-metal icons ALCEST return following last year’s Les Chants de l’aurore and their mesmerising live shows. Rising Icelandic act VAFURLOGI – led by former SVARTIÐAUÐI guitarist Þórir Garðarsson – also join following their 2024 debut Í vökulli áþján.

In addition, the festival will host a special collaboration between NERGAL (BEHEMOTH) and MISÞYRMING, performing BEHEMOTH’s seminal debut Sventevith (Storming Near the Baltic) in full to mark its 30th anniversary – presented live as a complete conceptual work for the first time.

Beyond The Gates takes place in Bergen, Norway from July 29th-August 1st, 2026. Tickets are available now and can be purchased here.
