Bicurious announce debut album ‘(re)constructed’
BICURIOUS have announced their debut album!
Titled (re)constructed, the upcoming album from the Irish post-rock duo is their debut full-length record and is scheduled to be released in July this year, via self-release.
The news of the debut album comes on the back of the release of their last single, Palapalapa, which will also appear on the upcoming debut. Alongside the announcement of the debut album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming debut album; Deconstructed. The new single was first premiered via Rolling Stone India.
Speaking about the new song, drummer Gavin Purcell told Rolling Stone India, “the album goes through the highs and lows during that time. Deconstructed is when stuff starts to get chaotic and more dark.” Guitarist Taran Plouzané adds, “I was listening to a lot of AND SO I WATCH YOU FROM AFAR at the time, which I think really influenced that lead part. I also really dig the groove and lead guitar part in the second verse.”
