Black Lava announce new album ‘The Savage Winds To Wisdom’
BLACK LAVA have announced a new album!
Titled The Savage Winds To Wisdom, the upcoming album from the Australian blackened death metal band is the follow-up to 2022’s Soul Furnace, and is scheduled to be released in July this year, via Season Of Mist.
“We took greater care in composing The Savage Winds to Wisdom,” says guitarist Ben Boyle. “This album has a real sense of balance that lends to repeat listens, while still staying true to what we set out to do: create heavy but anthemic tunes that tell a powerful story.”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Ironclad Sarcophagus. “I try and stay true to the spirit of metal,” vocalist Rob Watkins says about crafting lyrics. “For this song, I pictured this ancient wizard sending out evil vibes into the world in hopes of tricking someone into opening his coffin.”
