blanket release new live acoustic video for ‘No Surprises’

BLANKET have released a new music video!

The new music video, for a cover of RADIOHEAD‘s No Surprises, features on their digital Transfixion EP, which includes their recent cover of DEFTONES‘ classic Knife Prty and an acoustic version of their own track A Sky Filled With Ghosts.

Speaking about the cover, guitarist Simon Morgan says, “one of the first concerts I ever went to was see RADIOHEAD on the OK Computer tour at Blackpool’s Empress Ballroom, I was completely in awe of this band and the sounds they created. I’m pretty sure I was unable to string a coherent sentence together for a good couple of hours after the show, still rapt in what I had just experienced. To an 18 year old me, this was truly a moment I’ll remember for the rest of my life. RADIOHEAD are such an important and influential band for all us guys in BLANKET, still creating awesome music when many bands have just fallen by the wayside, and we thought to pay a little tribute to them. Both recordings of these songs were the first take, too!”
