blanket release new music video for ‘Levitate’

BLANKET have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track Levitate, is the brand new single from the Blackpool-based post-rock band and follows on from their previous single, Blur, which was released back in October last year.

Speaking about the new song and its accompanying music video, the band shares, “we matched the energy of the song to the lyrics, it makes you feel like you’re floating in a way hence the title – Levitate. We wanted to create a visual that represents the soundscapes of the song; loud, noisey, atmospheric and capture the feeling of an out of body experience. Projecting the visuals from the artwork created by Sean Doherty, we tried to match the colours and imagery to what we thought the music felt and sounded like. The video was filmed by Bobby (guitar/vox) and Ash (bass).”
