Blasphemer release new live music video for ‘Stabat Mater MMXXIII’
BLASPHEMER have released a new live music video!
The new live music video, for the track Stabat Mater MMXXIII, is a re-recorded version of Stabat Mater (taken from the Italian extreme metal band’s latest studio album, 2020’s The Sixth Hour), and was captured at this year’s Metalitalia Festival in Italy.
The new version of the track features new drummer Francesco Vella and was mastered by Brad Boatright at Audio Siege Engineering [OBITUARY, SUNN 0)))].
Speaking about the new live music video, the band says, “recorded during a blazing live performance at Italy’s finest extreme metal festival, the official video of Stabat Mater MMXXIII depicts BLASPHEMER in its element: a stage draped in red mist and fire, an audience exposed to profanity, human remains, nudity and blood. Completing the sensorial bombing of this fresh visual assault, the band recorded a renewed version of 2020’s live workhorse track Stabat Mater, to match the result of its current, well experienced live rendition: a sharpened drum work, an enriched guitar arrangement, an earthquaking, live-like loud mixing.”
