Bloodstock Festival announce seven new bands
Seven new bands have been announced for this year’s Bloodstock Festival!
Helping to obliterate those January blues, the good folks behind the UK’s biggest metal festival have kicked off 2020 by announcing seven new bands for this year’s lineup!
Leading the charge in today’s announcement is hardcore heroes HATEBREED who land a coveted spot as Sunday’s headliner for The Sophie Lancaster Stage whilst BURY TOMORROW will make their Bloodstock debut with a set on The Ronnie James Dio Stage on Saturday.
Speaking about performing at the festival for the first time, BURY TOMORROW says, “we’re really excited! Bloodstock are known for showcasing the best bands in the genre, so we’re genuinely honoured to be involved in 2020, see you in August!”
Also confirmed for 2020’s lineup is homegrown British metallers SYLOSIS, crossover thrashers TOXIC HOLOCAUST (who both perform on the main stage on Saturday), UK black metal titans WINTERFYLLETH land a slot on The Sophie Lancaster Stage on Saturday, as do American deathgrind band EXHUMED. Rounding up today’s announcement is NECROT, who will also perform on The Sophie Lancaster Stage.
Speaking about making their return to the festival, WINTERFYLLETH says, “we have been fortunate enough to have been asked back to perform at the festival on a number of occasions since our early days, and it has always felt like ‘coming home’ when we do.”
Bloodstock Festival 2020 will take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from 6th-9th August 2020. Tickets are available now and can be purchased here.
