Bloodstock Festival announce ten new bands

Ten new bands have been announced for this year’s Bloodstock Festival!

Following early June’s announcement, which saw the likes of SLEEP IN MOTION, NIHILANTH, HELLBEARER and more announced, now, ten new bands have been announced for the UK’s biggest metal festival!

Due to health reasons, Japanese metallers RYUJIN have withdrawn from this year’s event, but blackened doom metallers MOON REAPER have been announced in their place. Elsewhere, Friday’s Hopical Storm New Blood bill now also welcomes Essex victors REVERENT SON, Nottingham hardcore winners ROGUE LIMB, TIM WHYTE AND THE DEADBEATS who took first place for Somerset, and metalcore squad BY VIRTUE FALLS from the East Anglian final. Saturday adds alt-metallers THEM BLOODY KIDS from the London heat, Norway’s brutal top dogs SLAUGHTERHEAD, and North Wales death/thrash champs JUDGEMENT. On Sunday you’ll also be able to catch Kent’s conquerors CROWGOD and vanquishers from the Birmingham event, KENSEI.

Alongside the new band announcement, the festival have confirmed the first inaugural official bin jousting championship. Part of the festival lore, taking place in the Midgard campsite in the early hours of each day, now, the festival have confirmed there will be an official event for bin jousting. The official sport of Bloodstock will take place from late evening through to 02:00 Thursday-Sunday at this year’s festival.

Bloodstock Festival 2024 is set to take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from 8th August – 11th August 2024. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.
