Bloodstock Festival reveal seven more bands
Seven more bands have been announced for this year’s Bloodstock Festival!
After announcing the lineup for the Thursday party on the Sophie Lancaster Stage at the end of last month, now, seven more bands have been announced for the UK’s biggest metal festival!
Brit thrash luminaries ACID REIGN lead the charge in today’s announcement, who land a slot on Friday’s Ronnie James Dio main stage, whilst Bristol-based hardcore punk crew SVALBARD will also appear on the main stage on the same day. Also announced is goth/metal newcomers IDLE HANDS, who open the main stage on Sunday, whilst Swedish progressive rockers SOEN land the special guest slot on the Sophie Lancaster Stage‘s Friday billing. Rounding up today’s announcement is VISCERA, who perform on the Sophie Stage on Saturday, Edinburgh’s Metal 2 The Masses alumni DOG TIRED and BAILER. DOG TIRED perform on the Sophie Lancaster Stage on Friday whilst BAILER will perform on that stage on Saturday.
Speaking about performing at this year’s festival, ACID REIGN frontman H says, “anyone who witnessed our 2016 show on the Sophie Stage knows exactly how much we love playing Bloodstock. There is a lot of excitement in the AR camp right now, we finally got a new album out after all these years (29 to be exact) and now we get to put a Bloodstock sized cherry on the top of that cake. Can’t wait to see you all there!”
Bloodstock Festival 2020 will take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from 6th-9th August 2020. Tickets are available now and can be purchased here.
