Bloodstock Festival reveal two new bands

Two new bands have been announced for this year’s Bloodstock Festival!

With both NONPOINT and DEVILDRIVER withdrawing from the festival, now, two more bands have been announced for the UK’s biggest metal festival.

Norwegian black metal icon ABBATH will step in to fill the breach left by DEVILDRIVER‘s withdrawal on Saturday’s Ronnie James Dio main stage. Rarely in the UK, and not at the festival since IMMORTAL’s headline slot in 2011.

Speaking about performing at this year’s festival, ABBATH says, “we’re really looking forward to be coming back to the UK to shake the Bloodstock foundation. It’s been way too long!”

With NONPOINT dropping out, the previously announced BOSSK are moving up the Sophie Lancaster Stage bill to takeover their slot, so crossover thrashers PEST CONTROL have been announced.

Bloodstock Festival 2023 is set to take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from 10th August – 13th August 2023. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.
