BLVL release new music video for ‘The Serpentine Song’
BLVL have released a new music video!
The new music video, for the track The Serpentine Song, is taken from the Paris-based masked cold wave/electro rock outfit’s upcoming debut album MARTHA, which is scheduled to be released in October this year via P3P6 Label. It follows previous single Lion’s Claw, which was released in July.
The video was created by Dehn Sora, who made an animated version of the MARTHA cover by illustrators Førtifem. Speaking about the video, the band comment, “We love Førtifem‘s work just as much as we love Dehn Sora‘s. They’re like family. It seemed logical to us to use the poetry of the former to bring to life in animation the magnificent work of the latter on the album cover. It’s an immersion in the streets of Belleville, where the chimeras light up like neon lights to guide us on a nocturnal journey of initiation. Between shadow and light, black and gold, we meander again and again around duality, to reach the most extreme parts of ourselves’.”
