Boston Manor announce ‘Poetry & Soil’ virtual show
BOSTON MANOR have announced a special virtual show!
Titled Poetry & Soil, the special virtual show from the band goes deep into their latest studio album, GLUE, which was released back in April. The show can be watched, for free for a limited time, here.
Poetry & Soil comprises artworks by Benjamin Lieber – who created the GLUE album cover, Polygon – a visual artist from Paris – whose work includes the band’s trippy Liquid music video, production company Big Giant’s character work and storyboarding for the animated Plasticine Dreams music video and photographs by BOSTON MANOR’s touring photographer in America Danny DeRusso. Through A Short Film About GLUE you can be a fly on the wall during the metamorphosis of the record at The Barber Shop Studios in New Jersey. Featuring riffs, video games, lyric talk, musical musings and cats. The band are also inviting fans to submit their own artwork for potential inclusion in the show.
Speaking about the live event, the band says, “we had planned initially to do this art show as a live event in London set over a weekend prior to the album release. Due to COVID-19 this was not possible; instead we decided to recreate the show online. The show also features a 20 minute documentary A Short Film About GLUE. The film documents the year the band spent making the record. This show will be completely free but available for a limited time.”
GLUE is out now via Pure Noise Records.
