Calva Louise announce new album ‘Edge Of The Abyss’
CALVA LOUISE have announced a new album!
Titled Edge Of The Abyss, the upcoming album from the multinational alternative rock band is the follow-up to 2023’s Over The Threshold, and is scheduled to be released in July this year, via Mascot Records.
Speaking about the upcoming album, vocalist/guitarist Jess Allanic shares, “our album is called Edge Of The Abyss because that’s how we live. One misstep and everything could fall apart. I emigrated twice, so I’ve already had a culture shock twice. This hurts a little less because this is where I want to be. I have nowhere to go back to. Our willpower never dies, that’s the thing. It’s been hard learning every day, but look at the friendship we have. We say that it’s like the path of the warrior.”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Aimless. The new song is the latest single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from W.T.F., La Corriente, and Under The Skin.
Speaking about the new song, Allanic shares, “the song deals with the fragility of our beliefs but at the same time with the importance of knowing our true essence and standing up for it.”
