Capulus release new music video for ‘All That I Am’
CAPULUS have released a brand new music video!
The new music video, for the song titled All That I Am, is the brand new single from the Bournemouth-based rock quartet and comes as they enter the studio to record their as-yet-unnamed debut EP, which is scheduled for release in early 2021.
Recorded at HP Studios and featuring guest bass tracking from THE HOOSIERS‘ Leighton Allen, the new song depicts a progressively toxic relationship in which the antagonist takes their partner for granted
“The song may be written from the perspective of the abuser, but it is the victim’s story that’s really being told,” comments vocalist/guitarist Josh Vaughan on the band’s latest single. “As the song progresses, the victim finds strength, choosing no longer to accept the antagonist’s actions or allow them to carry on abusing them, eventually leaving them to face reality and deal with what they have become.”
“We wanted to write a song similar in structure to that of a YOU ME AT SIX song, as they had been a band myself and Tom [Riley, guitars/backing vocals] had been listening to quite a bit in previous weeks,” continues Vaughan, detailing the creative process behind their latest track. “The song itself was born relatively quickly – in a matter of hours – and just seem to come together itself. It’s an amazing feeling when a track just comes together naturally, and this was certainly one of those.”
