Carcolh announce new album ‘Twilight Of The Mortals’
CARCOLH have announced a new album!
Titled Twilight Of The Mortals, the upcoming album from the French doom metal band is follow-up to 2021’s The Life And Works Of Death, and is scheduled to be released in February next year, via Sleeping Church Records.
The upcoming new album was recorded and mixed by Raph Henry at Heldskalla Studio, France and mastered by Drudenhaus Studio. Artwork for the upcoming album was created by JR Erebe and designed by Flo Brouard.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, CARCOLH have released a brand new song lifted from the upcoming album; For Every Second….
Speaking about the new song, guitarist Quentin Aberne shares, “For Every Second… is the opening track of our new album Twilight Of The Mortals. The heavy and creeping beat of torment accompanies the song of a tortured soul in search of ultimate deliverance. It’s a song that makes the transition between our previous album The Life And Works Of Death and Twilight Of The Mortals, because we find the same riffing, but also a more important melodic work of the guitars. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we did recording it.”
