Chubby And The Gang announce new album ‘And Then There Was…’

CHUBBY AND THE GANG have announced a new album!

Titled And Then There Was…, the upcoming album from the English punk rock band is the follow-up to 2021’s The Mutt’s Nuts, and is scheduled to be released in October this year, via Flatspot Records.

The record is 16 songs written and performed by Charlie Manning, produced by Jonah Falco, and recorded and mixed by James Atckinson. It intends to show a mix of control and chaos, love and loneliness, rage and vulnerability that blends hardcore punk with the most infectious elements of 70s rock n roll and doo-wop.

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; To Be Young. The new song is the second single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from The Bonnie Banks, which was released last month.

The new song’s accompanying music video was directed by Nick Suchak and produced by Dan Matthews. Speaking about the new song, Manning shares, “when you 17 you have no idea about life, you just exist. This song is romanticising that uncertainty. You make so many mistakes and you have no idea that you’re doing them.”
