Club Dread release new song ‘Apathetic’
CLUB DREAD have released a brand new song!
The new song, titled Apathetic, is the brand new single from the Bradford-based metal band and follows on from the release of their debut single, Floor Gazer, which was released back in October last year.
Recorded and produced at Monolith Studios, London by Steve Sears [GALLOWS, GOLD KEY, CREATURE, WACO] throughout various stages of lockdown due to the global pandemic; the band’s latest offering sees the vocalist Jim Dummer acknowledging his feeling of isolation and depression throughout the last year, and attempting to learn how to continue to pick yourself up.
Speaking about the new song, vocalist Jim Dummer says, “this new single is the acknowledgement of my unhealthy coping mechanisms… addressing them publicly was a way of calling myself out, confronting the issues and learning from them. It examines the feeling of being numb, consumed by dread or creating a distraction to avoid dealing with my issues.”
